This week Tina is excited to have a pediatric oncology nurse, David Metzger with her to talk about all sorts of interesting things. They start off the show discussing David's book, Nurse Papa, that will be coming out in the next few months. Of course it wouldn't be Good Nurse Bad Nurse without a true crime story, so they discuss a story about an EMT who decided married life was just not enough of an adrenaline rush for him. However, rather than leave his wife, he had other plans that would take him to the south east beaches of Florida. They close the show with a story about an EMT whose quick thinking helped save the arm of a very disturbed man.

Together, Tina and Kirsty tell the horrific story of the notorious doctor Harold Shipman. Shipman was a general practitioner who was adored by his patients until his patient's son made a disturbing discovery about his practice that went back decades. They close the show with a heart-warming tale of a beautiful Ethiopian Princess who gave up her life of royalty to become a nurse.

***Trigger Warning***This week Q is back to tell a horrific story of a male nurse in Florida who was accused of sexually assaulting multiple patients. This story brings up the discussion of patient dignity and whether or not a patient should have the right to have someone of the same sex be present during patient care that involves bodily exposure.
They close the show discussing Harriet Tubman, who many (including Q), do not know she was a nurse! This is the first in our series of good nurses featuring Black nurses and other medical professionals as part of our commitment to keeping the conversation going.

This doctor took advantage of trusting individuals and ruined many people's lives in the process. They close out the show with a delightful story about a somewhat shy pediatric oncologist who forced herself to be in the limelight for one of her sweet patients.

This story is very disturbing and involves gun violence. They also discuss an article about male nurses and the struggle male nurses go through that female nurses may not ever think about. They close the show with a wonderful story about a doctor who happened to be in the right place at the right time for one nurse's family.
